Exchange?

I always crack a joke by saying “worth it coz we can’t do it” whenever I see a price tag of something that I really can’t do.
Now I am having afternoon thought on that meaning.

Since long before our time, “market” has been the place where people trade, and goods and services were exchanged.
We trade or exchange something, that we can do or we have, with something that we cannot do or we do not have or vice-versa.

Generally, most of us make money by working. Deep thinking, we exchange our knowledge with money. Then we go to the market and exchange our money with something that we need.
In this particular case, this “exchange” is like attraction-reflection speculation to me. We want to exchange things because we see or feel attraction and reflection.

In general, we are attracted by something that we do not have. New things are tend to be highly attractive. That is why we see many people can’t control their urge to get new things and do compulsive shopping.

But the question is “is it really worth it?”
There are millions and millions of things that we do not have, and millions and millions of things that we cannot do.

Is it really worth to exchange yours with those?
Think again!
