Very interesting habit indeed. Being a very new-born in this field, I don't truly know the actual meaning of blogging.
But as far as I can feel it, it is like a habit to me. Or as I mentioned in my preliminary posts, we do it as a record. It can also be a window to show our hidden thirsts while we are busy doing something else (making money most of the time) at our greedy desks. To some generous bloggers, blogging is for them to create bigger network and share their knowledge like a pro bono.
I have seen many blogs, which are worth reading every word of it, have full of thoughtful thoughts, and have gifted arts. Very healthy posts. I have also admired many well educated bloggers sharing their positive views and experiences over their blogs in a very gentleman way. At the same time, I always enjoy reading blogs, which have very much sense of humours.
Sadly, some bloggers are blogging to discriminate others' views. He may write against others' prevailing views, in some cases, in a very harsh way. Pretty disgusting to read it. To me, their blogs are like one of the pretentious blogs. His writings are lack of pretension but full of pretext. I suppose, he needs to write with a more subtle approach. Unless, he takes perverse pleasure in writing such posts.

Oh well, the Chinese have a saying that goes: "一种米养百种人" (meaning: "The same one type of rice can feed hundred types of people")
I have been reading blogs of many kinds too. Yes, some are gentle and loving ones while some are extremely opinionated ones.
Just got to sieve out the better blog posts for the betterment of yourself and all.
Yours is nice blog too. Cheers!
