Let's get down to Business

Some say life is all about give and take. Others say everything has reflection. I’d say it is a business.

First, you have to know your Microeconomic and Macroeconomic.
You, as a human, will try your best to know what people do (this starts at very early stage of your life). We learnt ,and are learning about expression, impression, behavior, relationship, limitations, choices (supply), want/need (demand), competition and intensity of integrity as well as value of dignity. This is mainly to adjust ourselves here and there in shaping our life in our own way, or how we want to be.

A little further, human tends to blend-in with history, civilization, culture, believes (let me put politics and religion under this because there is neither right nor wrong answer for these two). We do monitor growth (of yourself or people you know), prices (everything in life has their own price to pay) and/or exchange (we could exchange for something with something in some cases). We apply love (peace), hate (war) to things base on own adjustment and perception.
We know pros and cons of being internationalism and individualism. We decide either one or mix it up.

We apply Equilibrium theory in substitution (sacrifices) and elasticity (patience) in some cases. It can be widely vary from each other though.

On the other hand, we may use Niche Market approach to tailor-make decision or action towards something or someone. We can see so much of Niche approach in pioneers, genius, legends, and last but not least in criminals.

We go through boom and recession on our life (most of us). Some take it handsomely but most take it horribly. If you show it arrogantly at the time of booming, high chance that people could return with their jealousy and might even try to stop you from booming. Like any other business, you may collapse if there are many people like this around you.
A few may help you but most may not when you are having your hard-time at recession. Old says, you may count your true friend (or even true relatives) at that time. But trust me. You have no time to count anything at that time. You are struggling. You just need help, help and help. It is a time of circle-of-life thing. You may sincerely expect same amount of help that you have offered when you can. (So it is true that some say everything in life has reflection)

It is always an advantage to know your SWOT. People who know it and use it correctly earn either self-esteem or recognition. People who know it and cannot use it will see their life boring and meaningless (or do couple of things like community stuffs, drawing/painting for fun, writing for non posting, singing in the shower, taking pictures of whatever you see, cooking all funny foods, or even blogging. Some may call it "hidden talent". It is not hidden but you just have not realized yourself, yet!). However, there are people who do not know it at all. They can be easily influenced by anything, out of the blue.

Occasionally, we will try to accomplish many things at one time. There is nothing wrong with using Economies of Scale (killing two birds with one stone). But if you are trying to get two opposite things at one time, you could end up achieving nothing but contradicting yourself and worsen the situation. So we need to analyse carefully and set our Hierarchy of Needs.
There is a prominent “Pareto principle” appearing in our daily life. 80% of meaningful stuffs come from only 20% of what we are doing or from people surrounding us. Can you name those 20%? I can’t call out all yet. But I am trying to find out every day.

We were taught to use POLC since we were very young. But we somehow spend a lot of our times only on Planning but not Organizing and jump to Leading, again without Controlling. In return, we get bad feedback from people who are involving with us in our life. They might start avoiding you or think you are a little selfish or harsh.

Having said that life is like a business, there are a few things, so called, business theories, does not cover. For instance: kindness, forgiveness, charity for zero return (a little more decent than pro bono), stupidity or craziness, and a few to be named.
One man said “Life is finished after death”. I am telling you now that it is not true, unless everyone die with you.

One last question: Have we reached our "Break-Even" point?
